2×2 Video Wall Controllers

2×2 video wall controllers.

Four displays, one image — or four sources, one switcher. The right 2×2 controller depends on your inputs and how often you'll change the layout.

What 2×2 actually means

Four displays, one canvas.

Four displays in a 2-wide, 2-tall grid. Total canvas equals 4× panel resolution. You need a controller (or a matrix-mode switcher) that outputs four synchronised images — not a splitter that mirrors a single feed.
01

Boardrooms

Single source up across the wall, or switchable region-by-region during a review.

02

Executive lobbies

Brand reel on canvas, stat tile in a corner — looped layouts, no operator.

03

Training rooms

Codec feed full-canvas during the call; instructor laptop tiled during exercises.

04

Small NOC dashboards

Four feeds visible always; no operator surprise when something changes.

05

Retail focal walls

Premium content reel, single canvas, day-and-night looping.

06

Reception desks

Brand wall plus one live tile — drives traffic without a media-PC sprawl.

Indicative I/O for 2×2

Four outputs. Usually four to eight inputs.

  • Outputs

Four — one per panel. No spare needed unless you're planning to grow to 3×2 later.

  • Inputs

Most projects need 4–8. HDMI is the dominant signal type at this scale.

  • Distance

If source-to-rack distance exceeds 15 m, plan for HDBaseT or fiber extension on the input side.

  • Typical sources

Laptops via HDMI / USB-C dock, video conferencing codec, IP cameras, signage media player, branch CCTV NVR, set-top.

Price context

Project-driven, not list price.

Pricing is project-dependent and includes the controller, signal extension where needed, mounts and commissioning. A standalone G44-HDMI build is materially lower than a Catalyst V or DT4000 build — at this wall size, the architecture choice drives cost more than any line item. We quote per project. Share your input list and we'll respond with an itemised proposal.

Why VVT for 2×2

Multi-brand. Pre-staged. Local.

  • Multi-brand spec independence

We've installed every chassis on this page; the recommendation is driven by your I/O and uptime spec — not by which OEM gave us the best margin this quarter.

  • Bengaluru pre-stage and commissioning

Walls and controllers are racked, cabled and burnt-in at our Nagarabhavi space before they touch your site.

  • AMC

Tiered AMC contracts including onsite response targets and config backups held locally.

Common questions

The short answers.

Yes — with the SEADA G44-HDMI you get 4K @60 4:4:4 per output across all four outputs. Any of the larger controllers (DT4000, Catalyst V) also handle 2×2 4K with significant headroom.

Send us your source list —
we'll size the 2×2.

Number of HDMI sources, panel type and the room is enough for a first-pass BoQ within one working day.
